Agreement and eligibility
These Terms govern use of CareerVault, operated by Storm King, LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement.
What CareerVault provides
CareerVault helps maintain a reusable career record, assess job fit, and draft targeted application materials. Outputs are assistive drafts, not professional, legal, financial, immigration, employment, or recruiting advice. You are responsible for reviewing every output and deciding whether and how to use it.
Accounts and acceptable use
- Keep account credentials secure and provide accurate account information.
- Submit only information you have the right to use and process.
- Do not use CareerVault to fabricate qualifications, impersonate people, deceive employers, violate law, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, or distribute malware.
- Do not use the service for indiscriminate bulk or spam applications. CareerVault is designed for deliberate, truthful applications with human review.
- Do not reverse engineer, resell, scrape, or overload the service except through expressly supported interfaces.
Your content
You retain ownership of career materials and other content you provide. You grant CareerVault a limited license to host, process, transform, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service and to perform actions you request.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of submitted content and for obtaining any permissions needed to use third-party material.
Trials, subscriptions, and payment
CareerVault may offer a seven-day application trial with stated usage and model-spend limits. The hosted paid plan is currently offered at $9 per month or $79 per year, charged in advance through Stripe. There are no automatic overage charges; usage stops at the applicable service limits.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel through the billing portal, with cancellation effective at the end of the current paid period. Price or plan changes will be disclosed before they apply. Refunds are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
Service changes and termination
We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features to maintain security, reliability, legal compliance, or product viability. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, fraud, abuse, security risk, or nonpayment. You may stop using the service and request deletion at any time.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise employment outcomes, interviews, employer responses, uninterrupted availability, or that generated material will be error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Storm King, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost opportunities, lost profits, or lost data arising from use of CareerVault. Aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid CareerVault during the twelve months before the claim. Mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.
